Fluency Development through Skill Transference

English Abstract: This paper reports on a classroom activity which was carried out at several Japanese universities. The students self-modelled by considering an activity that they had learned successfully in the past. They then utilized this modelling by considering how they could apply the same kinds of processes to something that they wanted to learn or improve.
